Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web (Netflix, January 14): Emraan Hashmi and Sharad Kelkar play the lead figures in this high-stakes thriller, built around the cat-and-mouse dynamics between Customs department and a gold smuggling overlord. Taskaree is created by Neeraj Pandey who makes his fourth collaboration with Netflix after Sikandar Ka Muqaddar (2024), Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (2022) and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter (2024). The series will begin streaming on Wednesday. Raghav Jairath is the co-director for the series.

120 Bahadur (Prime Video, January 16): After Dharmendra-starrer Haqeeqat (1964), the Battle of Rezang La of 1962 got another cinematic adaptation after 60 years with 120 Bahadur, that will begin streaming this week on Prime Video. The Farhan Akhtar starrer war-drama, directed by Razneesh Ghai, released in theatres in November 2025. The war-drama also featured Raashii Khanna and Vivan Bhatena among others in ensemble cast. 

Mastiii 4 (ZEE5, January 16): The trio of Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh that returned to theatres with a truckload of raunchiness, double entendre, and slapstick in Indra Kumar’s marriage comedy, will soon be back with their antics on ZEE5. Written by Farrukh Dhondy and Milap Milan Zaveri, the comedy marked the fourth instalment of Indra Kumar’s popular franchise.
