Manoj Bajpayee praises Subedaar trailer: ‘Anil Kapoor sir, what energy you have!'

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar also stars Mona Singh and Radhikka Madan in lead cast

Anil Kapoor will soon be seen headlining the action-drama Subedaar, that will begin streaming on Prime Video on March 5. The trailer of the film, which was unveiled on Monday evening, has largely garnered a positive response for capturing the ‘action hero’ avatar of Anil Kapoor after a long time. Among others, Manoj Bajpayee made a post on social media, sharing his excitement for the Anil Kapoot starrer.

Taking to his X page, the Family Man actor shared the Subedaar trailer, adding a note, “Anil Kapoor sir, what energy you have! Dhamakedar trailer of Subedaar. Looks intense and gripping. Your approach to his roles always keeps things interesting. Anil Kapoor replied to Manoj Bajpayee’s post, thanking him for his appreciation. “I hope you like the film as much as you like the trailer,” he added.

On the other hand, Janhavi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor too shared the Subedaar trailer on their Instagram page, expressing their enthusiasm about Anil Kapoor’s comeback to the action genre. Janhvi penned, “Chachu is back to show how it’s done!”

Among others, writer-filmmaker Milap Zaveri and lyricist Neelesh Mishra too praised the Subedaar trailer.

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar also stars Mona Singh, Radhikka Madan, Aditya Rawal, Saurabh Shukla and Faisal Malik in lead cast.  At the trailer launch yesterday, Suresh Triveni stated that Subedaar is his tribute to the Anil Kapoor of the 80s, celebrating his heroism and action avatar.
