The makers of Accused, which was announced as part of the Netflix slate for 2026, unveiled the official trailer of their film. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Accused features Konkana Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta in lead roles.

The film promises to tell the story of a married couple Geetika (Konkana) and Mira (Pratibha), settled in UK, who are planning to take their relationship to next stage by adopting a baby when a scandal wrecks their lives. As Geetika finds her professional reputation being maligned after her organisation receives mails accusing her of sexual predation, her relationship with Mira too becomes ridden with doubt, insecurities and mistrust, opening up old wounds, causing rift between them. 

Accused is written by Sima Agrawal and Yash Keswani. In the technical team, the film has Linesh Desai as the cinematographer, Prerna Saigal as the editor and Bindiya Chhabria and Arvind Ashok Kumar co-helming the production design. 

Set for OTT premiere on February 27, the film is produced under Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Somen Mishra, Apoorva Mehta and Aadar Poonawalla serving as producers. 

Anubhuti made her directorial debut in 2022 with the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G.
