Netflix releases trailer for adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming animated film, The Twits. An adaptation of Roald Dahl's book of the same name, the film is set to premiere on Netflix on October 17.

The Twits is directed by Phil Johnston, who previously directed Ralph Breaks the Internet. Johnston wrote the film along with Meg Favreau. Johnston also produces the film along with Maggie Malone and Daisy May West. Jellyfish Pictures is backing the film along with Netflix Animation.

The cast for the film includes Margo Martindale, Emilia Clarke, Natalie Portman, Timothy Simons, Nicole Byer, Jason Mantzoukas, and Alan Tudyk, amongst others.

The story of the film follows the meanest, nastiest, and smelliest people on Earth, who operate their own amusement park. They go to war against two children and a family of Muggle Wumps. The Muggle Wumps and the children are forced to save the city from the tyranny of the Twits.
