Timothee Chalamet's recent critically acclaimed hit A Complete Unknown is coming soon to OTT. The Bob Dylan biopic, which was released in India on March 2, is set to hit JioHotstar on May 31.

Helmed by James Mangold, A Complete Unknown delves into the formative years of Dylan’s legendary career. Set in the early 1960s, it follows young Bob Dylan as he goes from Minnesota to Greenwich Village and shakes the foundations of the folk music scene there.

Mangold and Jay Cocks adapted it from Elijah Wald’s book Dylan Goes Electric. The title is a nod to a line from Dylan's most popular song 'Like a Rolling Stone'. The film also starred Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Dan Fogler as Albert Grossman, and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie.

Our review read, "A Complete Unknown explores the different shades of Dylan’s personality while also remaining an exhilarating film about music. The pacing never dips, as Mangold abstains from exposition and fills the screen with an array of masterful Dylan songs and memorable characters."

Chalamet and Mangold also produced it alongside Fred Berger, Alex Heineman, Peter Jaysen, Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer, and Jeff Rosen. The film has earned eight nominations at the 97th Academy Awards, namely, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Chalamet), Best Supporting Actor (Norton), Best Supporting Actress (Barbaro), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Sound, and Best Costume Design.
