Actor Premgi's latest film Vallamai, directed by Karuppaiyaa Murugan is set to be released on OTT soon. Aha Tamil took to their social media handles and announced that the film, which released theatrically on April 25, will hit their platform on May 23.

Our CE review of the film read, "Sensitivity is one of the most important aspects in a film handling subjects like sexual assault. And Vallamai doesn't disappoint in that regard. However, it feels like the makers needed more confidence in their own story and the strong themes it handles."

Apart from Premgi, the film also stars Dhivadarshini, CR Sajith, and Vidhu in prominent roles.

Vallamai director Karuppaiyaa Murugan had previously directed and produced the film Vidiyatha Iravondru Vendum, starring Ashok Kumar and Hrithika, in 2022.

In addition to directing, he also wrote the story and lyrics and had backed Vallamai under his Battlers Cinema banner.

The technical crew of Vallamai comprises cinematographer Sooraj Nallusami, music composer GKV, editor C Ganesh Kumar, art director SK Ajay, and stunt director SR Harimurugan.
