Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi, featuring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in India. The film, which released theatrically on April 18, was earlier made available on rent for viewers in the UK and is now accessible to Indian subscribers without additional charges.

Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi stars veteran actor Vijayashanthi in a prominent role as Vyjayanthi, a senior police officer. The story centres on the ideological conflict between Vyjayanthi and her son, Arjun (played by Kalyan Ram). While she hopes he will join the police force and uphold the law, Arjun instead becomes a gangster, choosing to fight injustice through his own methods.

Saiee Manjrekar appears as Arjun’s wife, and actor Srikanth plays a key role. Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.

The CE review of Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi reads, “Despite flashes of imaginative writing and a bold climax, this old-school mother-son drama is weighed down by dated execution and flat aesthetics.”
