Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black has been renewed for a second season by Netflix. The second part of the first season premiered just six days ago on the streamer, while the first set of episodes came out in October 2024.

Starring Crystle Stewart and Taylor Polidore Williams, Beauty in Black revolves around a stripper, Kimmie, whose life gets connected with that of Mallory Bellarie and her family that runs a cosmetic brand, which sheds light on a trafficking scheme.

Amber Reign Smith, Ricco Ross, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Steven G Norfleet, Julian Horton, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Bryan Tanaka, Joy Rovaris, Xavier Smalls, Charles Malik Whitfield, Tamera “Tee” Kissen, Ursula O Robinson, Ashley Versher, George Middlebrook, and Ts Madison round out the supporting cast of Beauty in Black.

Perry is the writer, director, and producer of Beauty in Black. Also producing under his Tyler Perry Studios banner are Angi Bones and Tony Strickland. Incidentally, Perry's long-running BET series Sistas has also been renewed for a ninth season.
