After a successful one-month-run in theatres, Vijay's Antony's latest film Maargan, has arrived on OTT. The crime thriller, directed by editor Leo John Paul in his directorial debut, opened in theatres on June 27, and met with positive reviews from audiences and critics. A box office success, Maargan is set to entertain audiences in the OTT space as well.

Currently streaming on Prime Video, Maargan revolved around Vijay Antony who plays a cop named Dhruv who is investigating the case of a serial killer Tamilarivu, played by Ajay Dishan who uses a substance that blackens people before they die. Dhruv is also infected with the unknown serum. What happens when Dhruv investigates the nature of these crimes, and what challenges he faces forms the rest of the story.

Our CE review of the film read, "Maargan earnestly flirts with the idea of having multiple theories on how and why the murders could have taken place without having red herrings that can be seen from a mile away."

Maargan, which was previously titled Gagana Maargan, also has Samuthirakani, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Brigida Saga, Vinodh Sagar, Deepshikha, Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan in prominent roles.

The rest of the technical crew comprises cinematographer Yuva S and art director Raja A. Maargan was backed by Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
