After a month in theatres, Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan's DNA is all set to arrive on OTT. Directed by Nelson Venkatesan, the story revolves around Nimisha and Atharvaa's characters, whose lives turn topsy turvy after Nimisha says her newborn baby has been swapped for another minutes after her delivery. The film was released in theatres on June 20.

Our CE review of the film read, "What really stands out in DNA is the earnestness of Atharvaa, who is very effective as the man torn between being a hapless father and a helpless husband. On the other end, Nimisha is shortchanged by the writing, which doesn’t give her enough and leaves her out of the narrative for too long a time."

The film also had Ramesh Thilak and Balaji Sakthivel, along with Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran and Pasanga Sivakumar in prominent roles.

Nelson has previously made Oru Naal Koothu, Monster and Farhana, is known for making films with a social commentary.

Athisha Vino had co-written the script of DNA with Nelson. The technical crew has cinematography by Parthiban, editing by VJ Sabu Joseph; singers Sathyaprakash, Sreekanth Hariharan, Pravin Saivi, Sahi Siva and Anal Akash have composed various songs in the film. DNA was backed by Jayanthi Ambethkumar and Ambethkumar under their Olympia Movies banner.

The film is gearing up to hit OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on July 19.
