Vaibhav and Athulya Ravi's latest comedy drama Chennai City Gangsters, has arrived on OTT. Sun NXT took to their social media handles and wrote, "They’ve got heart, hustle, and a half-baked plan. Catch Chennai’s quirkiest crew take on the ultimate heist!".

The ensemble cast of the film also has Anandaraj, John Vijay, Sunil, Redin Kingsley, Manikanda Rajesh, Livingston, and Rajendran, among others.

Directed by Vikram Rajeshwar along with Arun Keshav, the film was released in theatres on June 20 to mixed and negative reviews. Our CE review of the film read, "Absurdity in comedy can be a delight when done right. Its success lies in how well the exaggeration is balanced with believability. In Chennai City Gangsters, however, the characters are so wildly over the top that they feel more like caricatures."

On the technical front, Chennai City Gangsters has music by Imman, cinematography by Tijo Tomy, editing by Suresh A Prasad, art direction by Arunshankar Durai, and stunt choreography by Don Ashok.
