Kalki Koechlin's 2023 film Goldfish has now premiered on OTT after a long delay. The actor took to her social media to announce that the film is now streaming on Prime Video.

Set in London, Goldfish captures the relationship between a daughter and her mother who is enduring the agony caused by dementia. The movie widely dwells deep into music, health and an emotional ride that a daughter goes through while seeing her mother in distress.

Directed by Pushan Kripalani, the Indian-British-American production brought together Deepti Naval, Kalki Koechlin and Rajit Kapur with some actors from the United Kingdom – Bharti Patel, Gordon Warnecke, Ravin Ganatra and Shanaya Rafaat – and tells a delicate, timeless story of a mother and a daughter, and of a community.

Upon release in September 2023, the film was critically acclaimed by audiences and critics. Our CE review of the film read, "Goldfish is brilliant in depicting the sheer frustration and helplessness of dealing with a parent, and the ambiguity a child has to wade through when the parent is dying, which effectively annul the long list of complaints one may have towards the said parent. I mean, what good is a grudge held against the dying or the dead?"
