The trailer of JioHotstar’s upcoming crime-drama Kanneda was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. The show, directed by Chandan Arora, features Parmish Verma, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Ranvir Shorey, Arunoday Singh, Aadar Malik, and Jasmin Bajwa.

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the story of Nimma (Parmish), a Punjabi living in Canada and how he gets entangled into its crime scene. Zeeshan is playing the role of the cop on the hunt of these desi gangsters while Arunoday plays their leader.

Talking about the show, Parmish said, “Kanneda is more than just a story—it’s a reflection of the struggles, ambitions, and dreams of countless Indians living abroad. Nimma’s journey is deeply personal to me because, in many ways, I’ve felt like an outsider myself in life. But Nimma’s world is far more intense, where survival & power comes at an unforgiving price.”

Zeeshan adds, “The world of Kanneda is ruthless, and my character plays a crucial part in Nimma's journey. The story is filled with so much intensity and emotion.”

The show will start streaming on JioHotstar from March 21.
