The American goth dark fantasy comedy horror film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which hit theatres on September 6 last year, is all set to premiere on JioHotstar on February 28. A sequel to Beetlejuice (1988), the film stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara reprising their roles from the original.

The second film in the Beetlejuice franchise also stars Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Jenna Ortega, and Willem Dafoe in prominent roles. Arthur Conti, Burn Gorman, Santiago Cabrera, Nick Kellington, Amy Nuttall, and Paul Warren round out the film's extended cast.

Helmed by Tim Burton, who also helmed the original, the film is set more than three decades after the first Beetlejuice. It follows Lydia Deetz, now a mother, struggling to keep her family together in the wake of a loss as the spectre Betelgeuse returns to haunt her.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is Burton's biggest global box office hit in a decade, as the film's earnings overtook the lifetime gross of Burton's previous feature, Dumbo. The original Beetlejuice (1988) also starred Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jordan, and Catherine O'Hara, among others. The film has a script penned by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.
