HBO's Harry Potter to have more Weasleys

The quartet will join the previously announced Weasleys, Ron (Alastair Stout) and Molly (Katherine Parkinson), while the casting of Arthur, Ron's father, is yet to be made

Makers of HBO's Harry Potter series have been making cast announcements for a long time. The latest update is that the series has found its Fred, George, Percy, and Ginny Weasley.

Accordingly, Tristan Harland plays Fred Weasley, Ruari Spooner plays Percy Weasley, Gabriel Harland plays George Weasley, and Gracie Cochrane plays Ginny Weasley.

The quartet will join the previously announced Weasleys, Ron (Alastair Stout) and Molly (Katherine Parkinson), while the casting of Arthur, Ron's father, is yet to be made.

The star cast for the Harry Potter series, which has Dominic McLaughlin as the titular character and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, is rounded by John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Bertie Carvel, Anton Lesser, Paul Whitehouse, Johnny Flynn, and Bel Powley, amongst others.

The series is created by Francesca Gardiner, who is also the showrunner and a writer on the series. Mark Mylod serves as a director on the series. The series is set to premiere in 2027.
