After several weeks of hitting it out of the park by entertaining the audience in theatres, Lubber Pandhu is finally arriving on OTT. Disney+ Hotstar announced that the comedy entertainer, starring Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh will start streaming on its platform from October 31, coinciding with the festive occasion of Diwali.

Directed by debutant Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the star cast of Lubber Pandhu includes Sanjana, seen in Vadhandhi web series, Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Devadarshini, and Swasika Vijay, among others.

Upon its release on September 20, the film released rave reviews from audience and critics for its engaging screenplay, portrayal of cricket matches and how the characters were written.

Our CE review of the film read, "Where our films might utilise this idea of a grown man taking cricket so seriously for comedic effect, Lubber Pandhu doesn’t. It has the soul of a sports film and the mind of a well-crafted drama. It approaches these cricket portions like it were a romance."
