The spin-off and a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is all set to premiere of Jio Cinema on October 23. Starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth in lead roles, the film hit theatres on May 23 and opened to positive reviews. 

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the fifth film in the Mad Max franchise. The film is directed by George Miller, who earlier helmed the franchise's second and third instalments. Miller also penned the script with Mad Max: Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris.

In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Anya is seen portraying the young version of Charlize Theron's character in Fury Road. Set years before the events of Fury Road, the film follows the title character's life for over a decade, from her kidnapping by the forces of warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) to her ascension to the rank of Imperator

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga also stars Tom Burke and Daniel Webber. Nathan Jones and Angus Sampson reprise their roles as Rictus Erectus and The Organic Mechanic from Fury Road.
