Vemal's latest outing at the theatres, Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai, is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film premiered on the streamer on Tuesday. Also starring Karunaas in the lead, the film is directed by debutant Micheal K Raja.

Apart from Vemal and Karunaas, the film also stars Aadukalam Naren, Deepa Shankar and Pavan in prominent roles. The film hit theatres on August 23 and opened to mixed reviews. An excerpt from the CE review of Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai reads, "Problems aside, the amusing thing about Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai is that it never bites anything more than it can chew. Films that generally profess hope in humanity get preachy and feign universality, thereby drifting away from the primary story they wanted to tell."

Backed by Siva Killari of Shark 9 Pictures, Pogumidam Vegu Thooramillai's technical crew comprises of music director NR Raghunandan, cinematographer Demel Xavier Edwards, editor M Thiyagarajan, and stunt choreographer Metro Mahesh.
