Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham will start streaming on SonyLIV from June 7. The film is a drama focussing on the friendship between its lead characters, played by Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan, set in the backdrop of the film industry. Nivin Pauly plays an extended cameo in it as a film star. The Malayalam film will also be having dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada on OTT.

Upon its theatrical release on April 11, the film crossed 50 crores at the global box office, as claimed by the makers. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "At 165 minutes, Varshangalkku Shesham may seem a bit prolonged, yet it remains engaging. If you can overlook the director's sweetened passages, it serves as an imperfect yet heartening homage to the world of cinema, which also has music as its motif. "

Besides directing, Vineeth also serves as the writer of Varshangalkku Shesham. The film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, Y Gee Mahendra, Shaan Rahman, and Neeta Pillai, among others.
