The trailer of season 3 of the Prime Video series Panchayat was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, the series features a recurring cast of Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Chandan Roy and Faisal Malik.

Welcome back to the sleepy village of Phulera. The trailer suggests that Panchayat secretary Abhishek’s (Jitendra) transfer (which was the bone of contention at the end of season 2), has been cancelled. He is back in Phulera, preparing for his MBA exam, still eager to get out. Meanwhile Panchayat elections are incoming and Pradhan ji (Raghuvir) and Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar) are fighting tooth and nail. Amidst all this, Abhishek is trying to balance academics, secretarial duties and new-found love.

The series will start streaming on Prime Video from May 28.
