Late actor Satish Kaushik’s final film Kaagaz 2 is now streaming on Prime Video, his close friend and co-actor in the film Anupam Kher announced via an Instagram reel recently. The film was released in theatres on March 1.

Making the announcement on social media, Anupam wrote, "Please watch Satish Kaushik’s last film Kaagaz 2 on @amazonprime. It is an issue-based film. I promise you will like it!" In the video he said about the film, "It’s on Prime Video and I’ll be very happy if you watch it. And, enjoy the film, it's thought provoking… It's an important film of our time. Jai Ho.”

In the film, Satish plays a character who is fighting for justice for his daughter who lost her life because of a political rally. Anupam is essaying the role of an advocate in the film who is fighting for Satish’s character’s case. The film also stars Darshan Kumaar and Neena Gupta.

Earlier talking to ANI, Anupam had shed more light on the film’s plot, “In this movie, the daughter of Satish Kaushik's character could become an IAS officer but she meets with an accident and there is a political rally going on and her ambulance gets stuck in it and she dies. I play the role of the lawyer who defends the daughter of Satish Jee in the movie.”

Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9, 2023.
