Streaming platform Max has issued a statement saying actress Karen Pittman who essayed the role of professor Nya Wallace in the series And Just Like That seasons 1 and 2 will not be returning for the third season.

A spokesperson for the streaming platform had shared a statement with The Hollywood Reporter on Friday.

The streamer said "they have thoroughly enjoyed working with this dynamic actress." The statement further read that Pittman's commitment to other shows has made her unable to shoot for And Just Like That.

Karen Pittman has commitments with Apple TV+ and Netflix for the series The Morning Show and Forever respectively.

It is noteworthy that the actress has played Nya, friend of the Sex and the City offshoot's main trio Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).
