We had earlier reported that OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar is working on a new project titled Chutney Sambar. Directed by noted filmmaker Radha Mohan, the first look of the web series was shared by the makers recently.

Yogi Babu plays as lead with actor Vani Bhojan. Interestingly, this is the first time that Yogi Babu will be seen playing the lead in an original series. The first look poster has Yogi Babu with his trademark puzzled look seated at the centre of a dining table, along with all the other cast members who sport broad smiles.

Chutney Sambar, touted to be fun-filled entertainer, also stars 'Kayal' Chandramouli, Nitin Sathyaa, Charlie and Kumaravel in prominent roles.

The series will also feature Nizhalgal Ravi, Mynaa Nandini, Deepa Shankar, and Samyuktha Vishwanath. Well-known producer and director R Sundarrajan will be seen playing a pivotal role in the series which will also feature three child artistes namely Ilan, Akilan and Keshav Raj.

Writer Pon Parthiban, known for his works like Irumbu Thirai, Sardar, Kaithi and Master, has penned the dialogues for the series. On the technical crew, the film has cinematography by Prasanna Kumar, music by Ajesh Ashok and editing by Jijendran. A release date for the series is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Radha Mohan who is known for films like Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum, Malaysia To Amnesia, last directed Bommai starring SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
