Toby Jones, Lisa Vicari and Christiane Paul join Idris Elba in Hijack season 2

Actors Toby Jones, Lisa Vicari and Christiane Paul have joined the cast of Hijack season 2. They will be joining as series regulars alongside Idris Elba in the Apple thriller which has currently gone on floors in the UK.

Apart from headlining, Elba also serves as the executive producer on the show whose popular first season followed an airline hijacking. However, details regarding season 2 have not been revealed yet.

The second season is executive-produced by Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash at 60Forty Films, alongside executive producers George Kay and Jim Field Smith, with Field Smith’s own production company Idiotlamp Productions.

Jones, who is best known for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, recently wrapped up a highly acclaimed series on ITV called Mr. Bates Vs. The Post Office. Vicari, recognised for playing Martha Nielsen in the thriller series Dark, most recently starred in the western series Django on Canal+ alongside Matthias Schoenaerts and Noomi Rapace. This year, Paul is appearing in Concordia, Frank Doelger's AI surveillance series.
