Payal Rajput, whose cop movie Rakshana had a theatrical release in June, is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. The film, directed by Prandeep Thakore, will begin streaming on the platform Aha on August 1.

Prandeep Thakore was also the producer for his film, bankrolling it under the banner Haripriya Creations. Besides Payal Rajput, the film’s primary cast included actors like Roshan, Manas, Rajeev Kanakala and Shivan Narayana, among others. 

Mahati Sagar and Naresh Kumaran composed music for Rakshana. Anil Bandari is the cinematographer and Garry BH is the editor. Thayanidhy Sivakumar has penned the screenplay and dialogue for the film. 

Payal Rajput, who rose to popularity with her work in the 2018 film RX 100, also headlined the thriller-drama Mangalavaram in recent past.
