Divya Khossla’s Savi premiered on Netflix on July 26, the makers announced on Friday. The film has been directed by Abhinay Deo, who has earlier helmed films like Blackmail (2018), Delhi Belly (2011) and Force 2 (2016). It also stars Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Rane in pivotal roles.

Sharing the film’s poster, the makers wrote in caption, “A prison escape locked with suspense, sentiment and heart. All lines get blurred in this edge of the seat thriller. Watch Savi, now on Netflix!”

The film is about a homemaker Savi (Divya) who is put into action when her husband, played by Harshvardhan, is jailed for a murder he didn’t commit. Anil’s character helps her in the conquest to break into prison and rescue her husband from death threats emerging in the prison.

Savi is produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Its music has been composed by Vishal Mishra, Javed-Mohsin, Piyush Shankar and Arkadeep Karmakar. It notably features the last song sung by the late KK, who passed away last year. The film released in theatres on May 31.
