Bharathanatyam, the comic caper directed by Dorasaani-fame KVR Mahendra which released theatrically in April this year, is now gearing up for its OTT release. The film will begin streaming on Aha from July 27 onwards.

Bharathanatyam, which marked debut for actor-writer Surya Tej Aelay, told the story of an aspiring filmmaker who gets embroiled in the underbelly nexus of crime, politics and moviemaking. The comic caper also starred actors like Harsha Vardhan, Ajay Ghosh and Harshavardhan in prominent roles, among others. Minakshi Goswami, meanwhile, played the female lead. 

Besides starring as the protagonist, Surya Tej also penned the story and co-wrote the screenplay and dialogues with director KVR Mahendra. The ensemble cast of Bharathanatyam includes names like Temper Vamshi, Gangavva, Sivannarayana, Santhosh Balakrishna, Krishna Alluri, Naga Mahesh, and Manik Reddy. Vivek Sagar has composed the music for the film.
