Aha Tamil announced that their upcoming original film, Sevappi, will premiere on the streaming platform on January 12. The announcement came along with the film's teaser. Written and directed by MS Raaja, Sevappi stars MS Rishikanth and Poornima Ravi in the lead roles. 

The teaser shows the love a young boy has for a hen, Sevappi. However, it seems like the hen does not belong to him. When he runs away with the hen, along with a friend, chaos ensues in the village leading to a lot of violence. 

Shravan Athevethan has starred as the young boy in Sevappi.  The technical crew of Sevappi includes cinematographer Manoharan, with editing and VFX handled by Vachu Laskmin. The music is scored by A Praveen Kumar.

Sevappi is produced by Rajeshwar Kalisamy and Prasanna Balachandran, known for their YouTube channel Nakkalites.
