The first look images for the upcoming crime mystery Killer Heat, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and Richard Madden, were released. The film, inspired by Jo Nesbø's short story The Jealousy Man, follows detective and ex-pat Nick Bali (Gordon-Levitt), who is hired to investigate the accidental death of Leo Vardakis (Madden).

Killer Heat premieres on Prime Video on September 26. The film is directed by Philippe Lacôte, known for making Night of the Kings (2020). The adapted screenplay was penned by Roberto Bentivegna and revised by Matt Charman. Producing the film are Makeready’s Brad Weston, while Gordon-Levitt will also executive produce alongside Nesbø, Niclas Salomonsson, Tom Karnowski, and Makeready’s Collin Creighton.

The first look images feature Gordon-Levitt as a noir detective, who is premusably helped by the character played by Woodley. Madden, who stars as a shipping magnate who gets murdered, also got his first look revealed.
