Production begins for S2 of XO, Kitty

Earlier, we reported that XO, Kitty, the spinoff of To All The Boys I Loved Before, is renewed for a second season. On Thursday, Netflix announced that production has begun for the second season of the series. 

The Netflix spin-off revolves around the love life of Lara Jean's sister Kitty, and her love for a Korean boy, Dae. The first season of the series, which premiered on May 18, 2023, consisted of 10 episodes. 

The official description of XO, Kitty reads, "Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she'll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line."

XO, Kitty is created by Jenny Han, who executive produces and co-runs with Sascha Rothchild. It stars Anna Cathcart (Kitty Song Covey), Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), and Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), among others.

A release date for season 2 of XO, Kitty is yet to be announced by the makers.
