Emma Myers leads Netflix's TV adaptation of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder

An upcoming YA adaptation of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by BBC Three has been boarded by Netflix. The series is set to be headlined by Wednesday star Emma Myers. 

Rights in the U.S. and major territories excluding the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia and New Zealand have been acquired by the streamer. Currently in post-production, the series will air later this year.  

Dolly Wells is the director of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder which is adapted by Poppy Cogan, writer of Red Rose. The series will revolve around Pip Fitz-Amobi (Myer), a sharp teenager, who tackles a cold case. Five years ago, everyone believed Sal Singh killed his girlfriend Andie Bell. But Pip isn't convinced and decides to dig into the mystery herself, determined to find the truth.

The extended cast of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder includes Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, Henry Ashton, Mitu Panicucci, Orla Hill, Ephraim O.P. Sampson, Carla Woodcock, Yasmin Al-Khudhairi, Jackson Bews, Jessica Webber, Matthew Khan, Georgia Aaron, Oliver Wickham, Adam Astill and Annabel Mullion.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is adapted from Holly Jackson's eponymous novel, a bestseller which has had two sequel novels. Jackson is an executive producer on the TV adaptation. Florence Walker is producing the series which is also written by Zia Ahmed, Ajoke Ibironke and Ruby Thomas along with lead writer, Cogan.
