Vaibhav's 25th film, Ranam Aram Thavarel premiered on Prime Video on Friday. The film hit theatres on February 23 and opened to positive reviews. Ranam marks the maiden directorial venture of Sherief. 

Ranam boasts an ensemble of women in its cast including Nanditha Swetha, Tanya Hope and Saraswathi Menon. Suresh Chakravarthy, Prathini and Pathaman round out the supporting cast of Ranam. 

Ranam is a crime thriller film in which Vaibhav plays an aspiring filmmaker turned facial reconstructionist who, as a writer, also helps police officers solve cases by writing his version of how the crime might have been committed. 

Madhu Nagarajan is backing Ranam under the Mithun Mithra Productions banner. Arrol Corelli is the music composer for the film, which will also feature cinematography by Balaji K Raja and editing by Muneiz.
