The spy action comedy had a theatrical release on March 1

Vennela Kishore starrer spy action comedy Chaari 111, which had a theatrical release the previous month, is now streaming on Prime Video. The film also stars Samyuktha Vishwanathan and Murali Sharma in prominent roles.

The film revolves around the shenanigans of Chaari (Vennela Kishore), an incompetent agent at a spy agency run by Prasad Rao (Murali Sharma), who is surprisingly assigned a major mission of finding the identity of a wanted suicide bomber. The film was produced by Aditi Soni and directed by TG Keerthi Kumar. Simon K King composed the music for the film. Richard Kevin A was the editor, while Kashish Grover was the cinematographer.

Our CE review of the film read, "Chaari 111, in its two hours 15 minutes runtime, consistently makes the fatal mistake of misinterpreting the challenges of its medium. The result is a laundry list of glaring shortcomings including a generic conflict, insipid gags, a laughably incompetent set of antagonists and a total waste of Vennela Kishore’s talents, that too at its maiden film as a protagonist, which also renders Chaari 111 as a waste of his unique comedic brand."

Vennela Kishore's next major appearance is in the Allari Naresh starrer Aa Okkati Adakku, where the comic stalwart plays a supporting role.
