Netflix unveiled the trailer of their upcoming original film, Mother of the Bride, on Thursday. A rom-com starring Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove in lead roles, the film comes from Mean Girls and He's All That director, Mark Waters.

Benjamin Bratt also stars in a key role in Mother of the Bride. Brooke Shields plays the titular character, who discovers that her daughter's fiance's father is her college boyfriend. The trailer shows them spending time together before the wedding, only for things to become complicated as they're reminded of their past.

The official logline of Mother of the Bride, reads, "When a mother gets ready for her daughter's surprise wedding, she discovers that the groom is the son of the man who broke her heart years ago."

The film's supporting cast includes Rachael Harris, Sean Teale, Chad Michael Murray, Wilson Cruz, and Michael McDonald. Mother of the Bride is written by Robin Bernheim and produced by Brad Krevoy. Amanda Phillips, Robin Bernheim, Jimmy Townsend and Galen Fletcher serve as the executive producers.

Mother of the Bride will premiere on Netflix on May 9.
