CE Features

Following positive response from the audience for Russell Crowe's Sleeping Dogs, the thriller has got its digital release date.

The Adam Cooper-directorial will be available for digital rental and purchase on all major Video On Demand (VOD) platforms from April 9.

The film is about a former detective who undergoes treatment for Alzheimer's disease only to discover new information about his old unsolved cases that comes back to haunt him. Though the film, like his other recent films, couldn't find favour from the critics. But the ratings from the audience is a tell-tale of Russell Crowe's box-office success.

Sleeping Dogs only had a limited theatrical release on March 22, but went on to mint $88,000 ever since. The numbers do not show signs of a fall.

On the workfront, Crowe has Kraven The Hunter, movie from the Sony Spider-Man Universe. He would play the father of Aaron Taylor-Johnson who plays the titular role. Crowe's role will be someone who has ties with criminal organisations. Additionally, Crowe has reportedly been roped in to play Nazi leader Hermann Goring in Nuremberg which is based on Nazi war crimes. If reports are to be believed, Crowe will share screen space with Rami Malek and Michael Shannon.
