Premalu will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from April 12, 2024. The film is a romantic comedy, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles.

Upon its theatrical release, the film met with a highly positive reception and has crossed 100 crores at the global box office as per the trade experts. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Making a weird character work is a delicate balance that can fall flat if the performance lacks believability. In this regard, Premalu excels as the entire cast equally carries the film."

Directed by Girish A D, it is bankrolled by Bhavana Studios and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Premalu also stars Sangeeth Prathap, Shyam Mohan M, Althaf Salim, Akhila Bhargavan, and Meenakshi Raveendran, among others.

It is to be noted that besides Malayalam, the film is also expected to release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi on OTT.
