CE Features

Disney+ Hotstar Tamil has announced the release date of director Arunraja Kamaraj's upcoming web series Label starring Jai and Tanya Hope in the lead roles. The OTT platform took to their X handle and shared that the series will start streaming from November 10.

Two weeks ago, the makers had released the trailer of the series. The 1.45-minute-long trailer shows glimpses of Jai's childhood. When his teacher asks him what he wants to become, he tells her that society labels people when they come from a certain area. The later scenes show a grown-up Jai, who is now a lawyer fighting to overcome the identity that society has labelled him with.

Apart from Jai and Tanya Hope, the series will also feature Mahendran, Harishankar Narayanan, Charan Raj, Sriman, Ilavarasu and Suresh Chakravarthy, among others. Label is backed by Muthamizh Padaippagam Productions in association with ARK Entertainment.

The technical crew consists of Sam CS scoring the music, Dinesh Krishnan as the cinematographer and editor Raja Arumugam. Vinoth Rajkumar is the art director and Jeyachandra Hashmi has served as a writer. Director Arunraja Kamaraj himself has penned the songs for the series.

Label will be available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali.
