Earlier, we reported that American socialite and personality Kim Kardashian is set to star and produce The Fifth Wheel, a comedy film. It has now been reported that Netflix has bagged the deal for the project. 

While the plot is currently kept undisclosed by the makers, Kim is expected to play the titular character, The Fifth Wheel, alongside a female ensemble cast. The cast announcements are also yet to be made.

The Fifth Wheel will be written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. The project will be backed by Kim along with Paula, with a studio yet to be attached.

As an actor, Kim has had a short outing. She has lent her voice for two of the Paw Patrol films and recently appeared in the American Horror Story as well.
