Marvel, on Wednesday, released the trailer of the second season of What If...?. The series will be the last Marvel release for the year, as the 2nd season of Loki has also come to an end. Directed by Bryan Andrews, the show is created by     A. C. Bradley.

In 2021, What If...? was introduced as an animated series, offering Marvel Cinematic Universe fans one of their first opportunities to explore the multiverse. The anthology show features the Watcher (Jeffrey Wright), who presents viewers with various alternate realities that have emerged following the events of the first season of Loki.

In the trailer of the second season, the Watcher says that the Multiverse has paved the way for more twists. We see old characters like Black Panther, Hank Pym, Happy Hogan, Hela and others, while a few new characters are also introduced. We have to await the release of the show to know what this season has in store for Marvel fans.

Initially, the introduction of variants in the show involved minor alterations, such as Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) receiving the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). However, the series progressed to the point of featuring a version of Ultron who has conquered the universe through the use of the Infinity Stones.

What If...? season 2 will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 22, with 1 episode premiering every consecutive day. The upcoming season will have 9 episodes.
