Damsel teaser: Millie Bobby Brown is a damsel in distress who fights her own battles

Netflix released the first teaser of Millie Bobby Brown's upcoming film Damsel, on Saturday, during the streamer's ongoing Geeked Week. 

The teaser shows Millie Bobby Brown as the princess who is pushed into distress by the royal family that she is married into. However, with immense grit, she fights back fire-spewing dragons in a terrifying cave. Damsel is about a girl who agrees to marry a prince. However, she soon realises that she has been brought in as a sacrifice to fulfil a debt and finds herself battling a dragon for her survival.

The film also stars Angela Bassett, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Damsel is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, with Dan Mazeau serving as the writer. Backed by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Chris Castaldi

The film has Emily Wofle as the co-producer and Millie Bobby Brown as one of the executive producers. 

Damsel will premiere on Netflix in 2024.
