Kaali Venkat's latest outing at the theatres, Kida, is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil on December 15, the streamer announced on Monday. The film, which went across the film festival circuit, hit theatres on December 15 and opened to positive reviews. 

Written and directed by Ra Venkat, Kida also stars the late Poo Ramu. The actor played a doting grandfather who wants to gift his grandson new clothes for Diwali. Despite challenges, he decides that he has to fulfil his grandson's wishes, even if it can only be done by selling his goat which was kept as an offering for God. 

Kaali Venkat plays the role of a meat seller in the film. Backed by ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore, the technical crew of Kida consists of cinematographer M Jayaprakash, music composer Theeson and editor Anand Geraldin.
