Falimy, starring Basil Joseph in the lead, is scheduled to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 18. The film, which hit screens on November 17, has already been declared a hit at the box office, and is still continuing its good run in many centres. It marked Basil's third successful collaboration with Cheers Entertainments after Jan.E.Man and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.

Directed by newcomer Nithish Sahadev, Falimy is a fun entertainer about a dysfunctional family on a trip to Varanasi. Jagadish, Manju Pillai, Sandeep Pradeep and Meenaraj also play major roles in it. Nithish and Sanjo Joseph have co-written the film, which has cinematography by Bablu Aju, music by Vishnu Vijay, and edits done by Nidhin Raj Arol.

Basil's upcoming lineup includes the Vipin Das directorial Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. The filmmaker-turned-actor is also part of Tovino's Ajayante Randam Moshanam, and the Vineeth Sreenivasan-directed multistarrer Varshangalkku Shesham.
