Vikram Prabhu's much-delayed Raid, which finally hit theatres for Diwali, is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil on December 8, the streamer announced on Tuesday. 

Raid is an action thriller, directed by Karthi. It is a remake of the superhit Kannada film, Tagaru, which starred Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya.  The film is backed by SK Kanishk and GK Manikannan. Director Muthaiya has written dialogues for Raid, which features Sri Divya as the female lead. 

Raidmarks the second collaboration between Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya, who were seen together in the 2014 comedy, Vellaikara Durai. Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik, Soundararaja and others will be seen in pivotal roles.

Sam CS is the music composer of this film, which features cinematography by Kathiravan, editing by Manimaran and stunts choreographed by K Ganesh.
