The sequel to Maa Oori Polimera (2021), titled Polimera 2, is all set to premiere on Aha on December 8, the streamer announced on Saturday. The film hit theatres on November 3 and opened to mixed reviews. 

Polimera 2 stars Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Getup Srinu, Baladiyya, Chitram Seenu, Ravi Varma, Rakendu Mouli and Sahiti Dasari. The film is written and directed by Dr Anil Vishwanath. 

The film's plot revolves around a policeman who sets out to seek justice for his brother's death in a village plagued by black magic. Maa Oori Polimera is produced by Gowr Kriesna. Polimera 2 has been shot across regions like Uttarakhand, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, in addition to Hyderabad. 

The music of Polimera 2 is composed by Gyaani, with cinematography by Kushedar Ramesh Reddy, editing by Sree Vara and production design by Upender Reddy Chada.
