The recent Hindi film Dhak Dhak is all set to premiere on Netflix on December 8, as per the streaming app. The film, starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi, hit theatres on October 13 and opened to positive reviews.
Directed by Tarun Dudeja, Dhak Dhak has been produced by Taapsee Pannu’s Outsiders Films, in collaboration with Viacom18 Studios.
Dhak Dhak stars Fatima Sana Shaikh as a travel vlogger. Ratna Pathak Shah plays an elderly woman who expresses her desire to Fatima to do a bike trip to Ladakh’s Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable road. As they strive to make the trip happen, along the way they meet Dia Mirza’s character, who is a Muslim homemaker but moonlights as a mechanic. Parallelly, there is also Sanjana Sanghi, who wants to go for one last adventure before getting married. The four women get on their bikes and embark on their journey, facing several hurdles along the way.
