The makers of Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu released the video of the song titled Thorumi Nimishavum on Sunday. Composed by Govind Vasantha, with lyrics penned by Anil Lal, the song has been sung by Aavani Malhar.

The film stars Leela Samson and Jayarajan Kozhikode in the lead roles. It is written, directed and produced by Abijith Asokan, who previously backed and co-wrote the critically acclaimed Kolumittayi (2016).

Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu also stars Anu Sithara, Deepak Parambol, Noby Marcose, Irshad Ali, Pauly Valsan, Nandan Unni, Krishnaprabha, Sajath Bright and Ambi Neenasam, among others. The film, released on March 15, has cinematography by Santhosh Anima and editing by Kiran Das.

The CE review of the film read, "Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu is the closest Malayalam cinema has got to the MT Vasudevan Nair classic, Oru Cheru Punchiri. It exudes the same warmth, comfort and hope."
