The makers of the Malayalam film Cup, starring Mathew Thomas and Basil Joseph in the lead roles, released the film's teaser on Sunday.

Cup is directed by debutant Sanju V Samuel and scripted by Akhilesh Latharaj and Denson Durom. The film also features Namitha Pramod, Guru Somasundaram, Anikha Surendran, Karthik Vishnu, Riya Shibu, Nandini Gopalakrishnan, Mrinalini Susan George and Anand Roshan, among others.

The teaser features Mathew as a badminton enthusiast who is on a mission to claim a highly coveted prize in the sport. The teaser also provides glimpses of various characters who are integral to Mathew's life, including his supportive family and friends.

Presented by director Alphonse Puthren, Cup is produced by Allwin Antony and Angelena Mary under the banner of Ananya Films. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Nikhil S Praveen, editor Reckson Joseph and music composer Shaan Rahman.
