The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Antony released the film's trailer recently. Featuring Joju George as the eponymous character, the film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in a prominent role. Helmed by veteran filmmaker Joshiy, Antony will hit the theatres on December 1.

The trailer showcases that the film takes place in a rural village known as Avaran City, which is infamous for its criminal inhabitants. After introducing some intimidating characters, Joju George's character, Antony, enters the scene. He's the most dangerous of them all, and the trailer shows his brutal actions. Later, Kalyani Priyadarshan's character is introduced as a rebellious college student who often flexes her muscles and also encounters Antony. The trailer promises an action-packed film.

The film also stars Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod, Asha Sharath, Vijayaraghavan, Appani Sarath, and Sijoy Varghese.

Produced by Einstein Zach Paul under the banner of Einstein Media, Antony is scripted by Rajesh Varma, who earlier penned films like Paisa Paisa, Life of Josutty and Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan.

The film's technical team consists of Jakes Bejoy as the music director, Renadive behind the camera and Shyam Sasidharan as the editor. The film will be distributed by Joju's Appu Pathu Pappu Production House.
