A new teaser of Mohanlal-starrer Alone got released on Friday. The film directed by Shaji Kailas is a single-actor film set during the pandemic. Mohanlal introduces himself as Kalidas, who works in the Department of Universal Declaration of Human Rights United Nations. But with a lot of mystery in the teaser, it remains to be seen if the identity is real or not. In the teaser, we can also hear voices of actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Siddique interacting with Mohanlal's character.

Alone is scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman. The film reunites Mohanlal with Shaji Kailas after 12 years. They have previously worked together in films like Aaraam Thampuran, Narasimham, Red Chillies, Natturajavu, and Ali Bhai.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, Alone has Abhinandan Ramanujam and Pramod K Pillai as the cinematographers. The band 4 Musics, which earlier worked on Mohanlal's Oppam, has composed the music. Though the film was initially made for a direct OTT release, the makers are now eyeing a theatricalr release. They are expected to announce the release date shortly.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal's Monster has hit screens today. The film, which marks his reunion with the Pulimurugan duo of director Vysakh and scriptwriter Uday Krishna, is billed as an investigative thriller.
