The teaser of Butta Bomma, the upcoming film directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar T Ramesh, was released on Monday. 

The film stars Anika Surendran, Arjun Das, and Surya. The teaser gives a glimpse of Anika and Surya's characters getting to know each other through phone calls and how they met for the first time. At the backdrop is Arjun's character, who seems to be following them. The subsequent shots of the brawl and increasing tension promise a compelling drama with suspense elements.

Butta Bomma is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film's technical crew includes music composer Gopi Sundar, cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu, editor Naveen Nooli and art director Vivek Annamalai. Ganesh Ravuri has provided dialogues for the film.

Meanwhile, Butta Bomma is the Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Kappela (2020), which starred Roshan Mathew, Anna Ben and Sreenath Bhasi.

On the other hand, Arjun Das has Vasanthabalan's directorial Aneethi and an untitled film with Santhakumar in Tamil. And Anika was last seen in The Ghost, which starred Nagarjuna in the lead role.
